This exercise is called "Rings Lat Stretch" and it's one of my favorite exercises to stretch the whole trunk, lats, lower back, and a muscle called "quadratus lombarum". With this exercise, you can drastically improve your lateral flexion, which is the ability to bend your body laterally; something really important in many disciplines.
