Navy has handed over the second of four Guardian-class Patrol Boats to Papua New Guinea as part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program. With a shared commitment to a free and open Pacific, strengthening PNG's maritime security is part of Australia's long-standing partnership with our closest neighbour.

In a handover ceremony at HMAS Stirling, Western Australia, Defence Adviser for Papua New Guinea, Colonel Mark Goina has accepted HMPNGS Rochus Lokinap on behalf of the Papua New Guinea Government.
